C.L.I.Ve – is our MOBILE hearing resource centre, coming to a town near you…

…providing Hearing Aid Maintenance (HAM) and batteries for NHS hearing aids, initial hearing screening, equipment demonstrations, Adult Social Care (ASC) referrals and general advice or help.

Where do we go? see the map below…

Our outreach workers travel throughout the county, running hard of hearing groups, providing hearing aid maintenance (HAM), batteries and initial hearing screening on CLIVe our outreach bus, and providing a HAM and battery service in a venue near you.

If you think that you would benefit from advice and information about any aspect of deafness but are unable to get out of your home due to illness or mobility problems, our outreach team may be able to visit you. Please contact us for more information.

The hard of hearing groups are currently held at 6 venues across East Sussex. Here, people can meet other deaf and hard of hearing people and their families in a friendly easy-to-communicate environment. Communication tactics are explained, environmental aids are demonstrated and advice, information and support are all freely given. Selected speakers attend to give talks on many deaf issues. Why not come along?
