ACCREDITATION
East Sussex Hearing is dedicated to improving the lives of those in the county who have been impacted by hearing loss. We offer a range of services, including a list of local businesses who have had hearing audits to ensure their environment is suitable for those who are hard of hearing. We are very proud to work with local businesses to help them understand how to improve their services to accommodate the 1 in 5 residents of East Sussex living with a hearing disability.

To qualify for our ESH Standard Accreditation, you must improve your workplace to make a customer with a hearing disability more comfortable and able to enjoy the services on offer without feeling isolated or overwhelmed.
These can include the following:

Counter loop installed at the reception desk

Soft furnishings or sound baffles to reduce excess noise

Deaf Awareness training for staff members

Visual alerts in addition to audio alerts
